Michelle Stack, Information Systems and Change Manager

Michelle Stack brings extensive qualifications and experience to her role as Mono’s Information Systems and Change Manager.

Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Systems, Master of Business Administration (Executive) and Diploma of Project Management.

Responsible for ensuring strategic objectives can be met, Michelle implements structured internal changes to Mono’s systems and processes, ranging from major structural changes to minor business improvements, including system implementations.

Change maker

Working directly with the leadership team, Michelle aligns Mono’s internal operations with organisational strategy, ensuring communication, training and evaluation are considered at all stages.

“I’m involved in every part of the business and am always looking at ways we can improve,” Michelle says.

“From estimating through to site visits, I work with the team to find ways to be more efficient.”

In her time as Information Systems and Change Manager, Michelle has worked tirelessly to improve Mono’s systems and processes, undertaking several large-scale internal projects. These projects have included the implementation of Vista ERP, Xero, Procore and the Mono Body of Knowledge processes.

Michelle has also driven Mono’s Integrated Management System Certification, which combines several aspects of Mono’s performance to meet the requirements of management system standards.

A different perspective

Michelle brings a unique skill set to the largely construction-based team, which is enormously beneficial to the business.

“Because I haven’t come from a construction background, I can offer a different perspective and ask questions they may not have heard before.”

Mono’s approach has allowed Michelle to take her role and make it her own, bringing new ideas and systems to improve overall operations.

“It is so wonderful to work for an organisation that is so clear about who they are and how they make decisions,” Michelle says.

“There’s no fear of making mistakes or being wrong; it is always treated as a learning experience.

And there is never any resistance to new ideas… the leadership team is always open to learning, open to change and open to feedback.”

Always active

Michelle’s drive extends outside the office as well, where she leads an active and adventurous lifestyle.

“I’m not very good at sitting still,” she says.

“I’ve recently got back into hockey, and I’m always horse riding or playing tennis. And everything I do is with my family.”
