Delivered for Statewide Civil on behalf of Blacktown City Council this project encompassed a range of construction activities to achieve purpose-built sporting facilities as part of their Leisure Centre. The project featured new basketball courts with a structural steel frame stadium extension, aluminium curved roof and spring-loaded sports flooring.
The Tennis Centre is the largest of its kind in NSW with the facility boasting 16 plexicushion courts. The grandstand allows for seating of 288 spectators and the courts are designed for multi-sport use. Mono delivered administration and tournament offices, change rooms and toilet facilities, function room and meeting rooms overlooking the courts. Construction also consisted of installation of a bio-filtration system, shelter and furniture installation, and major landscaping work all within a live site and managing multiple stakeholders.
