Delivered on behalf of the NSW Land and Housing Corporation, this social housing development brings 41 new apartments over seven-storeys to Central Gosford for much-needed housing and jobs support. Of major significance is the project’s determination in July as part of the NSW Governments Fast-Track Acceleration Program to generate economic activity in response to COVID-19. The development establishes a new benchmark for high-quality architecture that delivers a strong design statement contributing to the transformation of a desired streetscape and to provide higher density development in well located areas.
In the heart of Gosford’s central business district and close to schools, Gosford Hospital and the train station, the development consists of 21 one-bedroom and 20 two-bedroom units. Incorporated into the design is basement parking for 19 vehicles, bicycle and motorbike spaces, as well as landscaping and solar panels.
