In collaboration with our valued client the NSW Land and Housing Corporation, Mono constructed 30 self-contained independent seniors living apartments in Friend Street, Merrylands. Purpose-built for Australian Seniors this development contributes to the social housing solutions being offered to vulnerable communities by the NSW Government and has been designed to meet Disability and Discrimination Acts and SEPP Housing for Seniors.
With pathway access to essential facilities located within 400m of the village, safe and modern spaces will be created for future residents across low-density East and West villages to address various mobility and disability requirements. Just as important, these dwellings will give these seniors support for their independence, connectivity and wellness needs knowing that their new homes will adapt to their changing lifestyle needs for years to come.
