Jodie Matta brings more than 10 years of experience in the marketing and events management space, plus a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing, HR and IR), to her role as Marketing Manager.
Since joining Mono in 2018, she has been responsible for the coordination, planning and implementation of internal and external marketing initiatives.
Jodie is the key driver behind numerous marketing functions, including marketing collateral (prints, social media and web management), public relations, events management and branding.
A people person
Jodie is a natural marketing manager, using her engaging personality and understanding of people to thrive in her role.
“I get to work with everyone within the company and I really love this side of my role,” she says.
“Being able to bring everyone together is really wonderful.”
Working with such a diverse range of people across so many sectors, Jodie’s ability to relate to people and communicate effectively is an asset to Mono.
Organised and efficient
With a background in events management, and also having worked in the Real Estate Industry, Jodie understands the importance of organisation and attention to detail.
“The skills and experience I have gained from my previous roles have really helped me in my role at Mono,” she says.
“The level of organisation required as well as my calmness under pressure are so important, particularly when working with the media or government agencies.
Having that professionalism and an ability to meet deadlines is my biggest strength, I think.”
A natural fit

As a mother of young children, this support is invaluable to Jodie.
“The flexibility that the leadership team offers, as well as the promotion of women in the construction industry, is extremely important to me,” she adds.

A busy mum
Jodie loves spending her time with her young family, seeing friends, watching movies… and enjoying a bit of retail therapy.
