With more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Daniel Gereige brings a high level of expertise to his position as Site Manager.
Managing and leading teams on residential and mixed use projects of up to 67 units, Daniel uses his industry experience and qualifications to ensure the safe, effective and efficient delivery of construction projects under the guidance of the project manager.
He coordinates and supervises job site resources so that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standard, while remaining committed to safety, quality and compliance.
A wealth of experience
Daniel believes that wisdom and knowledge are two separate aspects of his role, and that it is his many years of experience that have provided him with such a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities of on-site project management.
“I’ve worked in the industry since I was 15 years old, so I have a lot of hands-on experience on sites. I’ve worked for big companies like Meriton and that really gave me so much insight,” Daniel says.
“I really believe that the wisdom you gain from so many years in the industry is so important.”
Daniel’s career has spanned more than three decades and has seen him move from assistant foreman to site manager at some of the biggest construction firms in the country.
Big projects, big responsibilities
Daniel’s experience as site manager on larger construction projects is a driving force in Mono’s move into bigger projects.
Previous projects have included large-scale apartment projects (65+), luxury apartments, retail sites, schools and heritage houses.
Currently site manager on one of Mono’s largest projects to date, this experience has proved immeasurably valuable to the team. But with all his experience, Daniel still believes in collaboration and communication, with everyone in the team.
“If one of my labourers comes up with a quality solution, I will implement it,” he says.
“I respect everyone on site, no matter what their role is, and this respect really translates into quality project outcomes.”
A great fit for Mono
Daniel’s commitment to respect, transparency and honesty have made him a great fit for the Mono team.
“Mono is a really family-oriented company, and they have a lot of care and love for their workers,” he says.
“As a family man myself, I really appreciate this.
The most important things to me are my family, my friends and my faith.”
